After Care Instructions

EYEBROW

  1. There may be slight swelling and redness. Generally this will subside within a couple of hours. An icepack can be applied to the area to reduce swelling.

  2. Apply BEPANTHEN antiseptic cream with a cotton tip, every hour, for period of ten days. Then twice daily for a period of fourteen days.

  3. DO NOT rub or traumatise the pigmented area.

  4. DO NOT use soaps, cleansers, moisturisers or make up on the pigmented area until completely healed.

  5. To prevent infection do not touch the pigmented area with fingers.

  6. DO NOT pick or peel any crust that may form on pigmented area, this will remove the pigment.

  7.  No swimming or saunas for 7-10 days or until the procedure area has healed.

  8. Once healed, apply SPF to prevent fading of the pigment colour.

 

EYELINER

  1. There may be a slight swelling and redness. Apply an icepack to the area to reduce swelling.

  2. Apply BEPANTHEN antiseptic cream with a cotton tip, every morning and every evening for a period of ten days.

  3. DO NOT use mascara, eyelash curlers or eyelash tint, for a period of seven days. Purchase new mascara.

  4. DO NOT use soap, cleansers, eye makeup remover or moisturisers on the pigmented area until it is completely healed.

  5. No swimming or saunas for 7-10 days or until the area has completely healed.

  6. To prevent infection, avoid touching the area with fingers.

  7. DO NOT pick or peel any crust that may have formed on the pigmented area, this will remove the pigment.

  8. DO NOT rub or traumatise the treated area.

  9. If you wear contacted lenses, it is advised that you arrange transport home. Contacts SHOULD NOT be replaced for a minimum of two hours.

 

LIP LINER & LIPS

  1. There may be a slight swelling and redness. Apply an icepack to the area to reduce swelling.

  2. Apply BEPANTHEN antiseptic cream with a cotton tip, every two hours, for period of ten days. Then twice daily for a period of fourteen days.

  3. AVOID wiping the lips after eating. DO NOT rub or traumatise the area.

  4. AVOID licking lips. This will impede the healing process.

  5. Be careful when brushing teeth. Toothpaste can pull the pigment out of the lip tissue.

  6. AVOID citrus fruits/juices during healing phase.

  7. DO NOT use soaps, cleansers, moisturisers or make up on the pigmented area until completely healed.

  8. DO NOT use lipstick, balm or gloss until the area is completely healed.

  9. No swimming or saunas for 7-10 days or until the procedure area has healed.

  10. Clients that are prone to Cold sores MUST inform the practitioner on booking. It is advised to take preferred oral treatment prior and post lip procedure.
